For years, the human body has been perceived as something automatic: it breathes, filters, eliminates and continues to move forward without us having to think about it any more. Yet, some organs work in silence and we only notice them when something is wrong. The kidneys are a clear example of this. They are there, discreet, performing a vital task 24 hours a day, and despite this, many people only pay attention to them when the problem is already advanced.
At first glance, the kidneys appear to be mere filters. But in reality, they are real control centers. They are responsible for cleaning the blood, removing toxins, regulating fluids, maintaining mineral balance, and even helping to control blood pressure. When they work well, we don't even realize it. Problems start when they no longer do their job properly, and often the first signs go unnoticed.
